The Music Box - Act I

about

Dear Listener,

This is more than a song you’re about to begin, it’s an epic adventure in terror spanning multiple centuries and continents!

It all starts in Sixteenth century Ireland with Cedric Langdon. A small village in the County of Wexford has been losing its children for several years, but when some of their bodies are found the murders appear ritualistic. Cedric, an outsider and worshiper of the old Celtic deities is the obvious suspect and put to death. However just before the execution he professes innocence and curses the whole lot. From there the story moves to Nineteenth century France in a small village called Vallon-en Sully. A local witch is murdered and when her family flees to America they take her spell-book with them. In 1940’s Philadelphia, Tommy Grey acquires the book from his older brother and takes it over their cousin Billy’s house. What happens next?

Welcome to The Music Box!!

A unique blend of storytelling and music woven together seamlessly to create an opera like experience. Although this is like no opera you’ve ever witnessed! Metal is the style of music driving this show…and it delivers big time. You can expect all of the groovy aggression you have come to know in Farmacyde music and a scary as hell story that also manages to keep things light with just the right amount of comedy.

Come on in…the show is just about to begin..!

Farmacyde Los Angeles, California

Conjured in Los Angeles, born and bred in Baltimore's metal and hardcore community.

Farmacyde brings old school aggression together with a laid back groove. Mostly instrumental, but haunted by guttural vocals at times. And laced with dark riffs and funk inspired song concepts to make for a relaxing but heavy ride.

This is a one man band with live drums, flutes and vocals and synthesized guitars.
